With the closing of transaction with the Government of the Republic of Croatia, on September 17, 2007, Commercial Metals International AG, Baar, Switzerland, a subsidiary of CMC, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, USA, took over the shares of Valjaonica Cijevi Sisak, former Željezara Sisak, and changed its name to CMC Sisak d.o.o.
We are an EAF based producer of seamless pipes in the range of 4-14 inch pipes. In addition to the two seamless pipe production lines CMC Sisak operates with two welded pipe lines - hot stretched reduced and precision pipe that are using hot rolled coil as raw material. Total capacity - 300'000 metric tons.
CMC Sisak d.o.o. is ready to meet all market demands on ferrous metallurgy in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, construction , oil and car industries , bridge building and other fields of the economy. Let alone the fact that the quality of its products conforms to the high ISO 9001 standard and API-Q1 standard, especially API 5L and API 5 CT licenses for seamless steel pipes used in oil industry, are the proof of the quality of our brands and the reason for our outstanding reputation among the producers of seamless steel pipes.
